Ch-ch-ch-Changes

The last year has been full of changes and challenges, as well as new opportunities. As it has been a while since we've seen most of you, here is a little about what we've been up to and our plans for the coming months.

Tyler and Adrienne recently moved into a modest townhome in Nashville, Tennessee. After nearly four years of marriage, it is our first home together. While we enjoy traveling and staying with our families, after several years of that life, it's a delight to finally have space to unpack our bags, relax, and create together, as well as focus on our own relationship a bit! Amanda is currently mastering the arts and sciences of coffee back in St. Louis, but don't worry - she still plans to record and tour with us!

We never expected to end up in Nashville, but we are excited to build friendships, collaborate with other artists, and grow as musicians, performers, and people here.
In the coming years, we look forward to making recordings that will surpass in quality and scope anything we have done so far.

We are currently in the process of recording our next album, Everything Will Burn, slated for release this winter. We are so excited because this is going to be our best-sounding album yet! This is a later release than we initially planned for this album, but we're pleased to be taking extra time to make sure it's just right, developing the themes, arrangements and moods, and seeking out the right tools and the right people to get the best results possible.

The album itself examines 2014 and 2015 through a prophetic, apocalyptic lens, while calling out individuals' identities, authorities, and gifts. It explores the interplay of technology, humanity, and creation through the imagined eyes of a modern-day Moses. Musically, this album will be a bit of a departure from our last couple of releases as we wander into deeper and darker territory, flirting with such brooding influences as Leonard Cohen and Johnny Cash.

We're hard at work crafting a dynamic new live show to accompany this album, along with top-notch artwork and all kinds of spiffy new posters, t-shirts, coffee mugs, and more.

And here's where things get really interesting.

Over the years, many of you have asked for ways to support us and help us continue to travel and make music. We appreciate your desire to partner with us very much and have given the matter careful thought, because we absolutely do need help to grow, and because you genuinely matter to us.

Right now we're working on some ideas to help us cultivate a closer relationship with our supporters, while enabling us to create, record, and perform at higher level of quality with - hopefully - reduced dependence on crowdfunding. Watch for more announcements on these exciting developments coming soon.

All the best,
